Ms. Gisela Harich-Hamburger is the Head of Foundation of the Conservation Center of Photography in Berlin, started as a positive retoucher and master craftswoman for reproduction processes. She has wide experience in the field of photography conservation and restoration all over the world. She has restored two life-size photographs of the Longkorn University in Bangkok and has worked as a photo conservator at the Art Library and Collection Photography of the Prussian culture possession in Berlin, Conservation projekt/glass plate negatives on behalf of DAI (German Archeological Institute) in Cairo (Egypt), and at the City Museum of Munich.
